After your battle with Kravak and his undead minions , the Dragonborn priest Varesh comes running in . . .
Bahamut has spoken, time is critical . . Gather, I must help you prepare.
Skylar feels a sense of dread.
Gazrak, speak well of me to my clutchmates . . . Now, Stand close all of you, the time comes.
Aelar, you must act decisively, you will know when the time comes. To help you I give you my Ceremonial Robe – Bahamut tells me you will need it, very soon.
The robe is of a deep black velvet cut through with jagged silver lightning bolts on sleeves and hem.
Handing a carved stone to Skylar Varesh says
Skylar – I give you the Dragon Rune of Bahamut
Turning to Jarrek . .
Hairy one, Bahamuts blessings are upon your weapon , Oh you may may find this useful too . . .
He hands Jarrek a beautifully made Crag hammer, the head of which is a shaped like a Silver Dragons head. Taking a large silver ring from his thumb he passes it to Thraxus.
Archer, Next time you can stay close to your friends heh heh
He then removes his ornate silver scaled belt and passes it to Karash.
Ugly one – You are foolhardy and risk death much – I like this and find it praiseworthty, This blessed belt of Bahamut may help you be foolhardy for longer.
Finally he turns to Gazrak and hands him a small pouch which hangs from a thong around his neck
Gazrak – My lord, blessings on your house, please take this to my clutch mates.
Then in an unearthly voice, resonant with power he says
Be ready – Your mission here is nearly at an end
Varesh then starts a chant which sends shivers down your spine. As the volume of the chant grows a golden light surrounds him, getting brighter and brighter until you can not look at him directly. The chant rises to a crescendo as he bellows the name of Bahamut and with a soundless implosion the light disappears and in its wake a glittering rain of golden scales falls about you. . . .of the Dragonborn Priest there is no sign. He is gone.
You feel . . . invigorated . .your wounds are no more, you feel fresh and rested
(treat as long rest including levels if available) also the blessing of Bahamut is upon you +2 on attacks for 24 hours.
Gazrak looks sadly at the place where his companion had stood, muttering a barely heard prayer. Then he stands and readies his weapon.
You barely have time to do the items which you have been given when the room darkens and swirls, you find yourself in another room. a voice echoes around you
So you have finally freed the last of the shards and given me the power to be free of this accursed prison, Thank you for your efforts. You must be feeling a little weary after your struggles, let me end your pain . . . in death
With that Draconians start pouring through the two doors, spears at the ready and proceed to attack.
